Square canopy with an area of 5x5 metres comprising 22 crossbeams measuring 110x110 mm made from 6063-T5 extruded aluminium with an anodised finish.
The structure comprises four pillars measuring 200x200x5 mm made from S275 JR hot-dipped galvanised steel (90 microns UNE-EN-ISO1461), primed and painted in dark grey and two 200x100x5 mm girders in the same material and finish. The bolts and screws are made of AISI304 stainless steel.
The canopies can be concatenated to create wave-like alignments in the four directions with a minimum lower operating height of 4.8 m or with a 3º tilt and a 2.7-m minimum clear height.
The crossbeams can accommodate recessed linear LED lighting and numerous IoT control technologies.
INSTALLATION

Concept
With its strong sculptural character, the ONDA modular pergola lends shape to spaces and protected areas under a large canopy, whether they are promenades, squares or intersections, for example. It defines the area with shadows cast from the slender crossbeams, reminiscent of classic street market structures with their clear walls.
With repeating concave, convex or parallel arches, the canopy creates a delicate surface that is uniform, serene and continuous when viewed from a distance. Undulating between two different heights, it rearranges urban life during both day and night.
As an element of urban micro-architecture, the ONDA pergola provides a feeling of shelter and bears a pleasant appearance conducive to communal use, which is the main focus of contemporary urban planning that reclaims exterior space for pedestrian use.
