Product family

Concept

Father and son team Miguel and Gonzalo Milá took on the difficult task — commissioned by our editors — of drawing a bench for the 21st-century international market that could travel flat-packed and unassembled, that was humble in form, multicultural, very comfortable and expressive in its economy. The brief was a global bench that was easy to assemble and install, economical, simple and comfortable.
The upshot is Harpo, the friendliest of the Marx brothers, recognisable worldwide without the need for words. The family is enriched by two new types of seat: an armchair with a higher back and a long lounger. Two ways of sitting that invite contemplation and serenity. Every format of this large family invites rest, whether on a bench, a chair, a banquette, a table, an armchair with a larger backrest or a long lounger. Harpo also offers the possibility of using different materials for the slats to create varied appearances while maintaining comfort and character.
