Between ethnicity and modernity, Eric Gizard draws on the tradition of nomadic weavings, offering us a generous carpet, on which we can lose ourselves in the meanders of a wadi in the arid desert. Like mountain rivers which flow towards the plain, sinuous, free lines made from black or white sheep’s wool crisscross and separate, creating the subtleties of tone found in Berber carpets.
