Product description

Total height [cm]: 178
Total width [cm]: 57

A simple coat stand with clear-cut contours. Fleur was inspired in its entirety by traditional manual wood bending processes. Three beech wood pieces form the stable legs on one side, which are complemented by three additional narrow joists on the opposite side, thus offering ample space for hanging coats.

Concept

Another new product—utilising the unique technology of hand bending—will be an interior design accessory: the Fleur hanger. “The initial inspiration originated from TON's characteristic bending process. It was this process that was the inspiration for the creation of the shape of the hanger, which is essentially a rod ending in a curve at each side,” remarked Slovak designer Lubo Majer, describing the product.

His design uses three beech wood pieces that form stable legs on the bottom, complemented by three additional narrow joists at the top, offering ample space for hanging coats. “From certain visual angles, one can discern plant motifs in the shape, which is how the piece earned its name,” the designer adds. Even with its simple form, we have successfully preserved the full functionality of the product.
