Concept

Dougong that supports eaves of temple architecture are made up of interlocking brackets of large and small timber frame, having protected buildings from natural disasters. The structural table used the stylistic beauty of wooden architecture and uniquely evolved from the architectural style introduced by China. The tabletop is likened to the large roof of a temple and the cloud-shaped legs make use of the pillars that support the large roof of a temple and the complicated structural element known as kumo-hijiki that supports the long eaves of the roof for a table created with high machining accuracy.
