An exceptional example of a German decorative art object which combines the functionality of the Bauhaus style with decor. This type of handle was utilized in the early thirties in many representative buildings. It has not been possible to discover the designer’s name. Such handles were manufactured, as were those designed by Walter Gropius and Wilhelm Wagenfeld by S.A. Loevy in Berlin. The grip of the handle consists of a hexagonal profile. Matching the door handle: T-shape window handle GF29.
