The Big Basket lounger has an organic shape that creates a cozy feel.

It is spacious and comfortable with ample room to relax. Great for two people – but also for sharing with kids and or your favorite ‘furry friends” (pets). It is simple and striking in its visual appeal. The pattern detail is inspired by nature and reminiscent of the veins in leaves, tree branches intersecting, the patterns in dragonfly wings, cracked soil and natural textures.

The chair has been designed to be very comfortable and relaxing. Ideal for ‘chilling’, reading a book or just hanging out.

The Big Basket is also available as a hanging swing seat that can be suspended from a roof, beam or tree.

Each one is made by hand. The core frame is standard to ensure consistency in shape and comfort. Due to the variance of craftsmanship going into each chair, every piece has individualism and uniqueness in some of the pattern detailing.

Joanina draws inspiration from nature and her surroundings - giving rise to Studio Stirlings’ iconic Twig Pattern which features as an option for most chairs, as well as the Jozi / Egoli design inspired by her hometown, the city of gold - Johannesburg, South Africa
