Wall veneers from StoneslikeStones

Product description

Mokutan - Verbranntes Holz als Rolle - ca. 3,00x1,00 m

Concept

Our new highlight is a reproduction of the traditional Japanese method of wood
preservation Yakisugi (焼杉, Jap. lit.: fired cypress). These charred wooden planks have an iconic signature look, which is known around the world and tantamount to
sophisticated craftsmanship.
StoneslikeStones is proud to present you the renowned Japanese timber recreated on a rollable sheet: Mokutan (木炭, Jap.: charcoal).
Each sheet has a dimension of 1000x3000 mm, with a thickness of approx. 1–2 mm.
The material is odorless (i.e. it does not smell burned) and can be used as an interior wall cladding without concerns.
