Facade systems from SolarLab

Product description

The floor high solar facade is realized using a range of large format custom solar panels with a structurally color coating to create a dynamic cladding that is both high-efficiency and durable. The nano coatings are available as both flat and anisotropic coloreds to acoomodate the architectural intent and provide 160Wp of installed effect per squaremeter (15Wp/sqft). The ventilated and light weight rain-screen incorporates invisible fire-break and high efficiency mono crystaline solarcells that will recoup the embodied energy many times over during the facades long operational life. Thanks to the satinated finish and the custom electrical design the ventilated facade is resilient, self-cleaning and glare-free. The dynamic and durable panel system ensures easy installation, maintenance and a circular resource economy as they can be fully recycled

Concept

The Shingled family makes it easy to design curving facades that take advantage of the individually tilted and layered panels to absorb variations and enhance the architectural experience of depth and texture.
