Product description

The whale, the largest living animal in our time, is being honored.
Although the materials used: marble and ceramic are very old materials, this lamp is modern thanks to its shape, colors and finishes.
At the sight of this lamp, we have a feeling of weight and lightness, of balance and imbalance, of immobility and levitation.
Even when turned off, the matte marble absorbs the light, which allows the table lamp to be highlighted thanks to its shards and to keep all its superb.
This lamp is suitable for private interiors: living room, bedroom, office as well as commercial interiors such as hotels and offices.

Finishes
The white and copper colors are available with a white Carrara marble base in a matte finish.
The black, chrome and gold colors are available with a black Nero Marquina marble base in a matte finish.
The rod is offered in a chrome finish.

Concept

As its name suggests, this table light looks like a flying fish and more specifically a whale. The shape of the blue whale was re-interpreted by Cyril Rumpler. The absence of fins, mouth and baleen as well as its asymmetrical appearance reveal clean curves and lines.
The material used for the upper part of the light is ceramic. This material, offered in a glossy finish, is sublimated thanks to a play of reflections (more or less important depending on the color) that it reflects, what brings originality.
The purity of the cylindrical marble base, which combines elegance, power and stability, sublimates the upper part as if the blue whale were placed on a pedestal.
The Flying Fish light is a useful decorative, modern, timeless and even poetic object.
This table light is available in five colours : white, black, chrome, gold and copper and in two marble colours : white (Carrara) and black (Nero Marquina). The ceramic tops are offered in a glossy finish and the marble bases in a matte finish.
