Product description

Columbus chair from Skagerak is crafted from high-quality teak. The design is inspired by the classical garden chairs from the US but done in a simplistic, Nordic style where the steel fittings are kept visible to create a subtle contrast. The chair is adjustable, making it useful around the dining table as well as a sun chair.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Our FSC-certified teak comes from Central America, Brazil and Indonesia. Teak is a heavy, hard and sturdy wood type. The high content of natural oils makes it highly resistant and it is therefore a good choice for outdoor furniture.
This chair needs to be cleaned with a suitable wood cleaner and soft bristle brush. Rinse afterwards with water and let it dry for 24 hours. Note: Wipe off tables, benches and chairs after use with a dry cloth.

As the wood is untreated, the surface will patinate over time and eventually turn a beautiful silvery grey. If you wish to preserve or intensify the original honey-golden colour, use a suitable furniture oil on a regular basis. The product is resistant to all types of weather, all year round. However, if possible, we recommend storing the furniture in an unheated room during the winter months.
