Concept

Made as a gift to his wife, Helge Sibast designed the side table in the late 1950’ies. The exact origin and design year is not certain since it was only produced to fit his home and never sold to the public. The side table were kept in the Sibast family and now more than 60 years later, the table is set into production by the grandson to the designer and his wife, Ditlev and Anna Sibast, with the purpose of sharing this warm gift and beautiful design.

Anna and Ditlev Sibast created the new design company Sibast Furniture with the purpose of bringing their design legacy forward. As the grandson says: “because our Danish design heritage commits us…”
