Product description

This high pressure laminate (HPL) is a lightweight and cost-effective material option for a range of applications.

The laminate is not a self supporting material. Supplied in thin sheet form it must be bonded to a substrate.

This product has through-body colour allowing the edges to be left exposed and also reducing the appearance of chips and scratches to the highly-durable wear layer

Due to its composite nature it is not readily recyclable, though downcycling is possible.

HPLs are manufactured from phenol formaldehyde (core) and melamine formaldehyde (wear layer), which are deleterious chemicals.
