In this project I have had the opportunity of artistically projecting my artwork and paintings into the use of fibres as painting materials. What is interesting for me is the third dimension that the rug and fibre will bring in terms of both microarchitecture and light and shade.
Most of my sculptures and paintings are sharp and crisp, whereas the rug has a fussiness to it that will blend the edges, colours and feelings. The work is about a non-perfected geometry and regenerated genetic intimacy... All this comes together, hopefully to create a springboard for persons experiencing the work to make the step into their own notions of memory and recollection.
