Concept
The coffee table CAMPFIRE with the large, round glass tabletop is perfect for convivial get-togethers and creating that ‘campfire ambience,. Positioned on top of and wedged into one another, the three beams evoke the romanticism of campfires in a slightly tongue-in-cheek manner. The design reflects down-to-earth values and solidity. In doing so, every aspect of the design also expresses a simplicity that gives this table a timeless quality.
Designed in 2002 by Tomek Archer while studying architecture in Sydney, the CAMPFIRE salon table has received several awards, including the "Edge Commercial Design Award" at the Australian Furniture Fair and the "Australian DesignMark 2005". Tomek Archer and Peter Röthlisberger got to know each other through their trading partner Anibou in Sydney. Their shared enthusiasm for wood and specialised craftsmanship led to this exciting addition to the Röthlisberger collection
