Shibori - Stripes slate

"Shibori" merges two types of craft in order to create a superior modern design, drawing inspiration from Japanese batik paintings. With the help of mohair, silk and different knotting techniques, the fascinating motif with its typical dye and embroidery patterns is transformed into a new design in its own right, a rug with a relief-like structure. Differences in texture are reflected in colour gradations and different pile heights.
