Designed by Karim Rashid, Kountess is a stately, sculptural jar with a lid. Just like its twin model, Kount, Kountess can also have different uses, whether aesthetic, acting as a stunning centrepiece, or functional, turning into a colourful container. Made of Murano blown glass, the jar plays with unusual combinations of bright colors that can be personalized to respond to everyone’s need and taste colours that can be personalised to respond to individual needs and tastes. Concept

Karim Rashid - designer with a palpable creative flair whose projects reflect an intense, vitaminic use of colour - has designed a family of products for Purho including vases, containers and bowls with sinuous and complementary shapes. A complete Royal Family composed of the King and Queen vases, The Kount and Kountess accompanied by the trusty Knight. Offered in bold combinations made even more vibrant by the strong colours of Murano glass, the objects of the Royal Family are available in a wide range of customizable and interchangeable colours according to one's personal taste.
