The Offshore series of containers by Piero Lissoni consists of six different types that include cupboards and chests of drawers in height 140 or 70 to be used in the dining area, living room or bedroom. The sideboards are made of ash wood with a special and accurate construction at 45 ° degrees which, thanks to the continuity of the wood grain on all sides, creates a continuous volume. The interiors are made of natural maple, matching the exterior in open pore stained ash in the colours of the collection or the Carminio finish obtained through repeated manual steps, thanks to which the grain, previously darkened with black tones, comes to the surface in fascinating colours.
Doors and drawers can be opened with a special built-in handle, i.e. a completely metal-plated hole in Iron finish, and with hinges developed by Porro that are perfectly embedded in the thickness of the side and the door. The drawers are made of maple-plated birch plywood and equip-ped with full-extension runners. Attention to detail also characterizes the liquid-painted triangular section base in Iron finish.
