The Brooklyn armchair could be described as a steel magnolia for the way it combines a light, airy appearance with an extremely sturdy core. Jean-Marie Massaud has paired leather with steel to create an eclectic and versatile armchair that exudes contemporary elegance. The Brooklyn armchair is made up of structural elements of great aesthetic value. The legs are made from steel with ruthenium finish. The cushions, supported by a weave of visible leather straps, are upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather and embellished at the centre by an elegant long metal detail that echoes the finish of the legs. Padding in various densities of polyurethane foam and polyester wadding. On the back of the Brooklyn armchair the seat and backrest supporting frame is intentionally visible. The leather straps are the same colour as the cushions. Another decorative element is the micro-perforated leather strap that runs right along the edges of the backrest and seat cushions. Upholstery in Pelle Frau® leather.
