Pale Rider Cottonwood Stump Table

Side tables from Pfeifer Studio

Product description

The natural clarity of elegant proportions and beautiful graining and colorations, coupled with cracks that are inherent to the wood, inform your primitive aesthetic with effortless style. Reclaimed rough-cut solid cottonwood logs are harvested from the bosque (woodlands) along the Rio Grande River in New Mexico. They are hand-shaped then dried in a solar kiln before being topped with a protective clear coat. A portion from the sale of each table goes to Tree New Mexico, a non-profit dedicated to ensuring sustainable forests in urban and rural communities and natural areas through restoration, public education and advocacy.

- Cottonwood - Locally harvested and eco-friendly, reclaimed wood from the bosque (woodlands) along the Rio Grande River in New Mexico, is seasoned for several months in a solar kiln and allowed to develop organic cracks and separations which occur naturally as the wood dries and shrinks. Time may accentuate these separations, or generate new ones. This movement is considered inherent to the natural beauty of the design.
- 15-18 dia x 20 H inches (expect variation)
