Evoking hand-hewn rusticity, strikingly grained pine saplings gather to form an organically glorious solid wood bench. By hand our artisans peel saplings, creating latillas, a traditional Spanish framing primarily used with ceiling beams called vigas. The latillas are then secured together and finished per your specifications. - Ponderosa Pine Latillas - Harvested primarily in the mountains of Northern New Mexico, these peeled branches are traditionally laid between beams of a ceiling for decoration.
