Concept

Paustian ASAP Chair and ASAP Table series designed for Paustian by the Danish designers Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen are interlinked. The table and chair are well suited to both modern and more classical surroundings. Used in the dining room, in the kitchen, in café and canteens, in meeting and conference rooms and in the home office.

Both chair and table are winners of the red dot design award.

PAUSTIAN ASAP CHAIR
Paustian ASAP Chair is an easily stackable chair with a light, transparent appearance.
Paustian ASAP Chair is the winner of red dot design award 2012.
ASAP chair is designed for use at the dining table in the home, in restaurants, in the meeting-room or canteen at work, or indeed anywhere where it is desirable to have an elegant and useful chair in a contemporary idiom with great strength and durability. The shape of the frame and the padded seat provide a high degree of comfort, both aesthetically and ergonomically.

The chair, in slender steel and plastic, has been assembled into a homogeneous whole in black or white, further reinforced by textile or leather options for the framed and padded seat.
The seat covering for the ASAP Chair is available as standard in various types of textile or leather. The chair’s design allows for compact stacking without compromising the visual expression (up to five chairs can be stacked at a time).

PAUSTIAN ASAP TABLE
Paustian ASAP Table series is related to the award-winning ASAP Chair from 2011. Paustian ASAP Table is the winner of red dot design award 2013.
The table is well suited to both modern and more classical surroundings. It can for example be used as a dining table, a café/canteen table, a small table for the kitchen, or as a work desk or conference table.

The interplay between the wood and the painted details produces a friendly and welcoming design idiom. The slightly angled legs help to give the table a dynamic appearance.
The table tops are available in dark-stained or white-stained oak veneer, soap-treated solid natural oak or white laminate. The table legs, in either soap-treated natural oak, black-stained oak or white-stained oak, are fitted with foot covers in black or white moulded plastic, fitted with adjustable feet.
