Product description

A new direction for the Fin collection that holds equal elegance. Its intricate bone china shade has been inspired by organic forms that, when lit, cleverly accentuates the inherent beauty of its material. Suspended by our trademark cotton braided cable, the Horizontal Fin makes a striking feature in any interior - particularly when combined in multiples of three.
Each bone china piece is manufactured according to traditional methods by our highly skilled team in Stoke-on-Trent, where now only a handful of ceramic factories exist. The process begins with a slip (clay and water mix) being poured into moulds. Once set, the moulds are split and the shade, base or ceiling rose is removed and left overnight to dry before being sponged and fettled to remove any imperfections. The items are finally biscuit fired for a natural white finish.

Concept

The Fin, with its eye-catching bone china shade, that has been moulded in to intricate organic shapes, creating dramtic light when lit, is now available as a Wall Light. Handmade in Stoke-on-Trent, the distinctive shades are angled on to a satin chrome stem and base. The new grey cotton braided cable complements the style beautifully.
