IROHA
Chairs from Ofita, Designed by Isao Hosae
Product description
Cantilever base visitor chair
Concept
The Iroha chair, designed by Isao Hosoe, exemplifies performance design, understood as the creation of an object that enhances the user’s behaviour.
Thanks to its design, Iroha allows the user to unconsciously and automatically sit properly.
Iroha chair applies the knowledge, patented by IHD, that the distance between elbow and lumbar height is constant, regardless of the person's height. The armrests and the lumbar support are joined in such a way that when the user adjusts the height of the armrests, the lumbar support is automatically moved to the correct position, essential for the good health of the users.
Iroha chair provides regulation of the depth of the seat, regulation of the width, flexible design of the backrest grid for the user's greater comfort; the option of an upholstered backrest; adjustable depth of the seat and synchro mechanism, suitable for people from 45 to 120 kg in weight, with backrest locking in three positions and non-return mechanism.
