Modul L 196 Power

Suspended lights from Nimbus

Product description

Market Innovation! For many year now, our Modul L luminaire system has impressed with its extremely high efficiency at a height of just 18 mm at the body of the luminaire. Now an addition has been made to the family in the form of the Modul L 196 Power: This new version of our very slim, height-adjustable linear LED luminaire lights up a two-person workstation with its effective indirect light component in compliance with the relevant standards.

“Unchanged in its form, the innovations in the Power version are to be found in the detail.“

An optimized light optic in combination with highly efficient LEDs ensures the unbelievable light output of the new Modul L 196 Power with 10.050 lm – and that with a glare rating of UGR 14. And so the Modul L 196 Power provides a pleasant illumination of a two-person workstation with DIN-compliant glare suppression for workplaces (DIN EN 12464-1). The use of just one luminaire to light a two-person workstation significantly reduces procurement, installation and running costs. Moreover, the interior architecture can be even more minimalistic, as there is little need for ceiling luminaires.

The Modul L 196 / L 112 range of linear luminaires impresses with both its formal reduction and lighting performance. At just 18 mm high, the luminaires in the Modul L range blend in seamlessly with the surrounding architecture and are therefore the perfect alternative to conventional louvre luminaires. The Modul L 196 luminaire system has won a number of awards since its launch. It emerged as a "Winner" at the Interior Innovation Award 2014 and the Modul L 196 received a "Special Mention" at the Focus Open 2013.

Concept

In terms of form, the new Modul L luminaires fit seamlessly into the Modul Q and R ranges and add an elongated suspended luminaire to the product family which provides efficient, wide-area room lighting for offices and workplaces. The individually suspendable Modul L 196 with its 40 watt power consumption is the perfect alternative to conventional louver luminaires. With a minimal height of just 19 mm, it fits in perfectly with the surrounding architecture and its optimised conical indentations provide a pleasant light in compliance with DIN 12464-1 specifications for glare suppression. Additional indirect lighting for atmospheric room illumination can be integrated in the extremely slim central technical channel of the Modul L 196.
