The Ensis armchair offers an intimate and relaxed corner where you can take a break from your daily routine. A project in which multi-functionality and versatility are expressed in an imaginative, visionary and playful way. Ensis’ design combines the Mediterranean lifestyle with a contemporary interpretation of a new, more demanding and more personal way of experiencing the home. All the armchair’s components are interconnected by exposed metal tubing with a satin gold finish that has undergone a special polishing and powder-coating process.
The shapes of the upholstered furniture in the Posidonia collection are enhanced and embellished by the fabric designed by Elena Salmistraro together with BYBORRE, a Dutch textile innovation studio that has become a leader in the development of sustainable fabrics. A completely unique 3D™ yarn, woven from a blend of the finest wools and recycled PES, making it extremely strong and durable, yet luxurious, comfortable and totally sustainable. Coral is the name of the covering that evokes, in the designer’s own words, “the magic and movement of the underwater world”. A texture that recalls the marine coral motif consisting of wavy stripes and prominent dots.
