MUUTO WELCOMES THREE NEW ADDITIONS TO THE FIBER CHAIR FAMILY
With an expression that is at once comfortable and harmonious, the simple design of Muuto’s new Fiber Chair additions solves the complicated task of creating lasting everyday furniture with an unobtrusive yet distinct identity. The inviting, ergonomically curved seat of the new bar stool ensures maximum comfort; offered in low and high versions, the latter is available with or without a backrest that encases and supports the body. Crafted from environmentally friendly wood fiber composite, the bowed shell design is comfortable as well as durable, offering a simple expression with flexibility of movement in a range of fabrics and leathers. The frame is constructed from solid oak or slender powder coated metal. Completing the new series’ offering is a low stool, crafted to the same exacting standards. The uncompromising new designs fuse seamlessly with the existing Fiber series, encapsulating the ideals of unpretentious design with a human aspect.

ISKOS-BERLIN ON THE DESIGN
“The Fiber Bar Stool is an elevated addition to the Fiber Chair family. Retaining the essence of the original Fiber series – a clear sculptural language that refuses to compromise on comfort – the new bar stool is a versatile and corresponding companion for any setting. We wanted to create a harmonious and friendly design with soft shapes that would fit equally well in a café space as it would at a private kitchen counter.”
