Adolf Loos chaise-longue

Chaise longues from Modernista, Designed by Adolf Loos

Product description

Concept

Loos placed this unusual looking piece in at least three interiors he designed at the beginning of the 1930s, the best known of the three being his Raumplan master-piece – the Villa Müller in Prague. Originally there were two of these chaise-longues in the drawing room – our product is an exact reproduction of the only surviving one which is now in the collections of the Musem of Decorative Arts in Prague. Loos cannot be fully credited with the design of this chair – he adapted it from an earlier version made by the English firm Hamptons at the end of the 19th Century. We are happy to cover this chaise-longue in the material of your choice. Our delivery time is 4 weeks.
