PUU floor lamp

Free-standing lights from MHPD, Designed by Marc Haldemann

Product description

The floor lamp „Puu“ consists of a filigree frame made out of walnut wood and a suitable lamp shade made out of textile. Its form is inspired by the shape of a tower crane and is also influenced by the characteristical elements of a tree. The construction of „Puu“ appears reduced and elegant.
The peculiarity of the floor lamp consists of the fact that the single parts are separated by their function: The electric supply is visualized in its total appearance and so becomes an aesthetic element of the lamp. The frame stands alone and grants for the stability of the whole lamp. As a result a variable hight adjustment of the shade is achieved. The floor lamp appears sculptural and spreads a comfortably warm light.
The floor lamp is produced in Switzerland.
