Spiral ramp featuring a filigree glass railing at Seegmüller in Pulheim

Staircase systems from MetallArt Treppen, Designed by Ingenieurbüro Bestler

Product description

The spindle ramp in the furniture store connects the four levels in a stylish way. Thanks to the transparent glass railings, the elegant ramp construction blends harmoniously into the overall design of the building. Beside the smooth underside cladding, the three-flight steel sculpture is also characterised by the outer semi-circular and three-dimensionally bent edging profiles with recesses for LED lighting. The glass railing system developed by MetallArt was applied for this object, which meant that the specified dimensions of the individual glass panes for railings could be exceeded. The trapezoidal cross section of the ramp lends great lightness to the entire construction, although approx. 86 tons of steel were installed.
