Filigree newel stairs in a private residence in Stuttgart

Staircase systems from MetallArt Treppen, Designed by unit a Freie Architekten BDA

Product description

In a Stuttgart city flat, this impressive newel staircase matches perfectly with the stylish ambience and, as a decorative piece of furniture, connects two living levels. The newel staircase is of filigree appearance due to the missing outer stringer and the narrow steps made of smooth sheet metal and cladded with solid wood "European oak". To stabilise the stair construction, a steel plate was embedded in the floor, on which MetallArt mounted a smooth continuous tubular steel spindle.
