Extraordinary stringer stairs at Burgerlich in Hamburg

Canopies from MetallArt Treppen, Designed by GRS Reimer Architekten GmbH

Product description

The self-supporting, rounded steel staircase with tread-covering box-type stringers fits perfectly into the ambience of the fashionable Burgerlich restaurant in Hamburg. With a straight stair foot and an intermediate landing in the direction transition, the two flights of the stair sculpture run to the upper floor. The tread step construction was realised by closed folded steps. To reduce the risk of accidents, a black rubber profile with a slight overhang was embedded in the tread edge of the steps. The profile runs continuously to the outer edge of the steps.
A groove at the upper side of the steel stringers ("pocket") provides for the accommodation of the all-glass railing with laminated safety panes.

Concept

MetallArt also impresses casual customers with spectacular stair constructions in cultural buildings such as museums or restaurants. For years, the company has been one of the best addresses for upscale special staircase constructions and guarantees quality at the highest level.
