In the foyer of a residential building in Mannheim, this elegant steel staircase by MetallArt Treppen GmbH from Baden-Württemberg blends harmoniously into the exclusive interior. MetallArt executed the steel tread steps in the area of the ground floor in an evenly rounded design and in the upper section in straight version. At the outer flight of stairs a parapet-high box-type stringer takes over the function of a railing. On the inside, a box-type stringer provides for the insertion of the all-glass railing, which is continued on the upper floor. As filigree upper finish for the glass railing MetallArt attached a bent U-profile made of highly polished stainless steel. The smooth-surfaced steel soffit cladding as well as the LED-illuminated landing at the stairs foot are convincing as an outstanding architectural highlight.
