GRAND PAPILLON DUO ÉCRAN

The GRAND PAPILLON DUO wall light is the flagship of our wall lights and becomes an art object on every wall. With over 600 lm of glass directed upwards and downwards, the luminaire offers truly princely light for large rooms. The front surface of the glass is satined in order to design the light emission as a homogeneous light surface.

The timeless design of the PAPILLON wall lights is additionally emphasized by the element of the back plate. It turns the GRAND PAPILLON into the GRAND PAPILLON ÉCRAN.

Écran is french for canvas. The backplate being this "canvas" on which the minimalistic and pure beauty of the PAPILLON wall light design is revealed with all clarity.

Through the fine materiality and simple elegance of the new “backplate” the iconic design of the PAPILLON sconce receives an even more distinctive charisma. The light reflections on the wall develop a unique light play that accentuates the classy compactness of the wall light.

The GRAND PAPILLON ÉCRAN creates a harmonious unit of minimalistic design elegance and a sensual language of light that enhances every ambience.
Customized solutions like variations in size are still possible.

You can choose from more than 10 different finishes for the sockets and backplate of the wall light. From "dark bronze" to "high-gloss nickeled chrome look" to "antique solid brass": the many options ensure that PAPILLON wall light fits into any ambience and can develop its very special charismatic radiance.

A box behind the backplate to hide electronics can be added. In general the backplate makes it much easier to hide an external power supply inside the wall, which is needed for a "tuneable white" LED solution (steplessly adjustable light temperature from 2.000-2.700 K) for example.

THE GRAND PAPILLON ÉCRAN family has protection class IP44 and is suitable for damp rooms such as bathrooms and outdoor shaded areas.
