Every now and then I take your letter at random and in reading those words full of passion converge and resurrect distant, indelible moments and experiences. From La Récréation by Piero Angelo Orecchioni Each dish evokes a single story that binds past, present with traces of distant memories, images that overlap landscapes of which faded forms, colors, sensations, words erased as secret or perhaps never written love letters remain. A single sign acts as a common thread, a large eye that preserves them as if they were precious stones set in a gold family memory ring. Love Letters is a series of hand-painted centerpieces with different subjects taken from the artist's original drawings where glazes and colors create geometric games, embellished with shiny gold decorations.
