Filar is a durable upholstery fabric with a dense construction and sophisticated palette inspired by menswear. Its rich neutral palette provides a clean tableau for this textural weave that’s still rooted in structure. Due to the subtle color variation and scale shift of its weft yarns, Filar’s overall texture is pronounced but not dominant, as the luster yarn is highlighted against the darker ground. Filar is composed of 100% polyester, including 35% recycled content (23% post industrial and 12% post consumer). Filar has additional environmental features with a PFOA/PFOC-free stain repellant as well as heavy metal-free chemistry.
