Product description

LUCEM line translucent concrete panel is composed of optical fibers and concrete. Fabrics made of small 70 micron diameter glass optical fibers and a selected fine concrete matrix are assembled layer by layer. It is a precast concrete material that is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and specifically used in wall cladding, tiles, bricks, table tops, and even sinks for bathroom applications. It has a water-repellent impregnation which makes it a very attractive and innovative system.

LUCEM light transmitting concrete is offered as panels in different colors and thicknesses. The panels are calibrated, matt satin finished and impregnatet. Translucent concrete has the property of being impervious to heat, cold and UV rays since it is made of fiberglass, cement and sand. There are three standard color varieties: white, black and gray. A custom size can also be ordered.

Wall installation can be done with facade anchors. For installation as floor plates, a load-bearing substructure must be provided that leaves sufficient free space for the placement of the light sources below the elements. An independent installation requires frame-like fixing of the thin elements.
