Collection: Cluster suspension lamps.
A lightweight, blown glass suspension light, Random is made up of three round diffusers of different sizes which form one simple, eye–catching whole. Each diffuser has an LED light source which emits warm white light. When grouped together on a cluster, Random light fixtures form a poetic composition like soap bubbles, enhanced by the glossy coloured finishes which add a touch of character and originality.
Concept
From the concept of bubble floating in the air born the name of this lamp thank to the designer Chia-Lee Yang. The thin iron wires support the light but resistant material of the balls, inside which incorporate the efficient LED light and the transparency makes the magic atmosphere that may be enhanced by various chromes.
Random not only interprets the randomness of an event in a summer day expresses in its light heartedness, but also the joy that wants to be transmitted to people to create their own compositions in an easy and fast way thanks to its modularity making it ideal for illuminating and characterize important spaces allowing you to add more fun to create your own lighting.

Chia-Ying Lee
Taiwan
Chia–Ying Lee was born in Taiwan and became a designer in new media and industrial design after studying computer science and music. She graduated from the Interaction Design Institute Ivrea in 2006. After working for PEGA Design & Engineering for three years, she set up her studio (studio if) in December 2011. Her work is a blend of design, art and technology embodied in physical forms, from products to installations. She has worked with important institutes such as the National Taiwan Art Museum and the JUT Foundation for Arts and Architecture. Studio if also runs small production of her works for stores and galleries in Europe, Taipei and Beijing. Her projects have won various awards including “IF China Product Design Award”, “Taiwan Excellence Award” and “SDA Best Design of The Year”. She was selected as one of the IFFS Asian Star Talents in 2015. That same year she designed Random for Studio Italia Design.
