Jacob lowboard

Lowboards are a practical alternative to the sideboard. JACOB is not only a classic cabinet for the TV and stereo, it also provides a special place for displaying attractive Lambert accessories, books and magazines. The surface is laminated with oak rough-cut veneer, which is dark stained. Lambert uses so-called 3D-veneers on this furniture. To make these, the wood is shaved off the tree trunk in ultra-thin strips using extremely sharp blades. The technique of using firm, short cutting strokes creates this extraordinary surface relief, which has the appearance of freshly sawn lumber or waves in a sandy beach. This gives the wood a three-dimensional look and special haptic feel. The body is made of hot-rolled industrial steel and welded together. This manufacturing process creates gentle colour variegations on the surface, which makes each piece of furniture unique. The practical castor wheels make the lowboard very flexible. JACOB can be moved about freely like a serving wagon and allows you to combine it in various styles of living interiors.
