Concept

Untitled_AB6 combines rich dimensionality with a matt and glossy surface. Crafted with metallic foil yarns, it translates the visual experience of acrylics applied to natural canvas – the rich wetness and extreme volume of the paints – into the medium of textiles. A pocket weave, Untitled_AB6 features tactile miniature pillow-like graphic forms that run in metronomic succession across its surface. The curtain's colour concept contrasts black notes against a scale of natural, canvas-like tones.
