Atrium Outdoor is an outdoor upholstery textile by Patricia Urquiola, which also can be used indoors. The textile has a plain base with a subtly vivid pattern. Unusually for a technical weatherproof textile, Atrium Outdoor is made with a highly durable specially developed Trevira CS yarn and stands out for its very soft hand. Free from fluorocarbons, Atrium Outdoor is flame-retardant with an environmentally focused finish, which is water-repellent and fast-drying. The textile also provides resistance against chlorine, seawater and artificial weathering. Atrium Outdoor combines two similarly coloured yarns with a contrasting yarn. This construction infuses the textile with distinctive depth and a subtle sense of wave-like movement in the foreground. The background resembles a faux-uni.
