Sound-Absorbing Light Ceiling

Illuminated ceiling systems from Koch Membranen

Product description

These days, suspended ceiling systems are increasingly used as mere design elements in public areas or flush-mounted ceilings in office spaces, function rooms and educational buildings. Currently, the primary purpose of these ceilings is to provide uniform illumination across large, preferably seamless, surfaces. The light ceiling element is furnished with the specially engineered fabrics Artex, Helioflon and Siglatex. These fabrics deliver exquisite sound absorption and outstanding resistance to fading as well as minimum colour shift. These properties turn our light ceiling into an illuminated sound absorber.
Their design allows the membranes to be combined with a wide variety of construction systems. To satisfy the customer's requirements, these combinations often require the engineering of custom frame systems. What is more, easy access for service and repairs, a concealed substructure or particularly large, partially self-supporting surfaces can be realised as well. All services necessary for implementation - from consulting to planning to engineering the substructure and membranes as well as the lighting technology and lighting control to installation and maintenance - are provided by one source.
