Product description
The two-seater sofa is presented in the Relax version with a structure in metal and polyurethane foam. Elastic belts and cushions are down filled over a polyurethane core.
Concept
The furnishings created by Saarinen for Knoll, which include the famous, revolutionary Tulip collection from 1957, have become major design icons of the postwar era. In his approach to architecture and furniture design, Eero Saarinen combined essential simplicity and very striking formal invention. His collection of pieces with “chalice” legs, including low tables and dining tables, epitomizes his ideal of formal unity.
