This chair was made and released by CHRISTENSEN & LARSEN A/S in 1956, and since it was purchased by Queen Elizabeth 2 years after that, it is called "Elizabeth Chair". This is one of his highest-quality chairs, with attractive delicate details seen in the lines from the front legs to the rear legs.

Concept

Ib Kofod-Larsen(1921-2003)
After graduating from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Denmark, Ib Kofod-Larsen designed industrial products and furniture for studios. He participated in many competitions for Danish craftsmen at that time, and won various awards including Gold Prize at the HOLMEGAARDS glass competition. One of his most famous works is Elizabeth Chair (IL-01) in1956.
