Concept

TOFTA WAVE, designed by Hans Hosak, is the result of a project exploring our own rug history. Kateha’s experience of textiles and their archives of old patterns go many decades back in time. With the colours and materials selected, Katehas has made a rug with an universal appeal. The designer has chosen fewer colours for Tofta Wave than on the Lina rug, and has chosen to weave the rug on cotton warp with cotton fringes ending.
