Concept

The design of Scout challenges the archetype of the wooden table. It proposes an innovative structural solution, resulting in unique proportions and striking details. Scout makes use of Karimoku-specific techniques and craftsmanship, which finds expression in sophisticated joints and refined finishes.

SCOUT TABLE
The table’s innovative design allows to simply attach the modular legs individually to the tabletop – for flat-pack transportation they can be easily dismounted. The table comes in two sizes and is made of sustainably sourced Japanese oak wood.

SCOUT TABLE 240 is the XL version of the Scout Table introduced in 2016. Like it's smaller siblings, it is designed as companions for the same design approach and innovative spirit between functionality and sophistication. The modular legs are directly attached to the tabletop and can be easily detached from the tabletop for flat-pack transportation. An additional central rib provides the necessary stability to the wide span of the 2.4 meter tabletop and gives the table an elegant, architectonical appearance.

SCOUT CHAIR
With its particular widely curved backrest, the dining chair offers the comfort of an armchair. It is made of sustainably sourced Japanese oak wood.

Scout Bistro Bar Table:

The bar table is an addition to the Scout table series designed by Christian Haas and adopts the same characteristic details with its simple and elegant appearance. With its central leg with four integrated hooks for hanging bags underneath the table top, it is suitable for cafes, restaurants, hotels and public spaces. The table is made of Japanese oak wood and the table top is attached to the leg with a sturdy steel fixture.
