Capriata

Dining tables from CASAMANIA & HORM, Designed by Carlo Cumini

Product description

Concept

Capriata is a table featuring an unusually narrow and long top. Such proportions, beyond being very practical in certain furniture combinations, allow full visibility of the perfect dimensions of the supporting structure, reminiscent of wood roof trusses. The design is completed with an extensible solution, because instead of stretching, Capriata elongates on both long sides by removing the holding frame and unfolding the extensions contained therein. At its maximum extension, this feature almost doubles the surface area.

Table that can be extended width-wise with two double-leaf opening extensions. Top and extensions made from particleboard panels, veneered and stained or melamine-coated and lacquered, 23 mm thick. Inclined supports, trestle and strut made from natural beech, either stained or lacquered. The table is assembled using beech pins and vinyl adhesive, free from formaldehyde and heavy metals. Stainless steel rod. Felt pads for resting on the floor.
