Stools from horgenglarus

Product description

Moulded plywood stool, stackable
W38, H46

Concept

This stool is the only piece of furniture created by Swiss graphic designer and sculptor Michel Péclard, a close friend of Jean Tinguely and Niki de Saint Phalle, whose minimalist design became a legend. The three identical pieces of moulded plywood with face veneer on both sides create a stool with a typical look and feel, yet it is fully independent. A design that reaches into the present. The ultra-light péclard stool is appreciated for its relaxed comfort level thanks to a slight indentation in the seat. This easy-to-stack stool can be used in residential spaces and as commercial furniture. It is often seen in exhibitions, for example in "This is modern" by the German association of workmen for the 14th architecture biennale 2014 in Venice. Its sculpted shape also makes it a popular motif for advertisements.
