Concept

Using techniques of Kyoto Nishijin weaving (lacquer arts, wood inlaying, mother-of-pearl inlaying, gold thread, gold leaf, silver thread, silver leaf, maki-e), Kyoraku Kougei makes high-end furniture, shop displays, interior finishings, and souvenir goods. Their clients include temples and shrines, luxury hotels, ryokans, famous ryotei restaurants and luxury residences.
