AAC 153 Soft Duo
The AAC 153 Soft Duo counterbalances its soft quilted shell and contrasting materials with the
high functionality and modern expression of the five-legged castor base. Retaining the same high
backrest and generous seat that characterises the series, the base is designed with a gas lift that can
adjust the seat height by a range of 14cm. The base is available in polished or powder-coated
aluminium, and the quilted shell is offered with two different textiles or leathers to create a
unique look that works equally well in corporate, public, or private contexts.

Concept

With the objective of supplementing HAY's iconic AAC chair series with a softer, more organic expression, the About A Chair Soft features the softness and warmth of the quilted shell, whilst retaining the fundamental mission of creating a connected family of chairs based around one simple, strong idea. Available in a variety of interchangeable base types in wood, aluminium or steel and numerous upholstery options, the AAC Soft series is a versatile and functional collection suited to a wide variety of domestic, office, and public settings.
